The Mill, Trinity's student run art house on Vernon Street, officially opened its own art gallery last semester, on Friday, Nov. 13. Managed by Taylor Colantonio '10 (pictured on the right above), the gallery featured a wide range of works from student artists. Sculptures and photographs sat alongside oil paintings, charcoal drawings and mixed media pieces in a carefully orchestrated manner exhibiting the professionalism and dedication by the members of the organization. The Mill has hosted a number of extremely successful events this year already, bringing in artists such as Yes Giantess, Das Racist and Boy Crisis, while also featuring student music groups such the Accidentals, and deejays Johnny Gaffney and Fadil Cantave. For more information on the Mill and to see upcoming events, check out their blog: http://themilltheblog.com/.
(Sreeya Bose '10, Photo by Will Pollock '10)
